Journal of Cloud Computing: Advances, Systems and Applications (JoCCASA) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It publishes research spanning all aspects of Cloud Computing. Principally focused on core elements, including Cloud applications, Cloud systems and the advances that will lead to the Clouds of the future, the journal will also present review and survey papers that offer up new insights, and lay the foundations for further exploratory and experimental work.

The journal disseminates research that imparts advanced theoretical grounding and practical application of Clouds and related systems, as enabled by combinations of internet-based software, development stacks and database availability, and virtualized hardware for storing, processing, analysis and visualizing data. Coverage will examine Clouds alongside such other paradigms as Peer to Peer (P2P) computing, Cluster computing and Grid computing. Coverage extends to issues of management, governance, trust and privacy, and interoperability of Clouds.

Journal of Economic Structures is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It is an international journal that publishes theoretical and empirical articles that apply to a wide range of formal analytical instruments and statistical techniques to explore the structural interdependencies among various activities in the economy. We collect papers dealing with broad issues, covering subjects such as technological and lifestyle changes, qualitative innovations, trade and trade networks, disaster propagation, ecology and development, among others, where structural understanding is essential. The journal supports communication among various related disciplines and encourages contributions from regional practitioners.   

JESIT is an international refereed journal seeking innovation, creativity and novelty in the fields of electrical engineering and information technology. JESIT aims to attain the state-of-the-art in theory and applications of these fields. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academia all over the world to promote, share and discuss various new issues and developments of electrical systems and information technology. The journal is published three times a year by the Electronics Research Institute, Arab Republic of Egypt and Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Slovak University of Technology, Slovak Republic. Papers will be double-blind reviewed; accepted papers will be available on-line (free access) and printed version as well.

Journal of Inequalities and Applications is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. The aim of this journal is to provide a multi-disciplinary forum of discussion in mathematics and its applications in which the essentiality of inequalities is highlighted. This Journal accepts high quality articles containing original research results and survey articles of exceptional merit. Subject matters should be strongly related to inequalities, such as, but not restricted to, the following: inequalities in analysis, inequalities in approximation theory, inequalities in combinatorics, inequalities in economics, inequalities in geometry, inequalities in mechanics, inequalities in optimization, inequalities in stochastic analysis and applications.   

Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It presents current academic research and practical findings, investigating why some regions grow as others stagnate, and measuring effects and implications in the context of historical evolution and geographical location. Coverage includes innovation and entrepreneurship in such emerging markets as China, India, Russia and Latin America.  The Journal addresses questions driving policy and decision-making at the company, industry, national and regional levels: How does progress occur? What processes and institutions are involved? How are new businesses created? What cultural traits foster or impede innovation? How is wealth distributed or concentrated?  The Journal probes whether innovation emerges differently across such sectors as health, education, technology and the social and physical sciences, and explores patterns, triggers, catalysts and accelerators to innovation, gauging their impact on future research, practice and policy.

Being both strong and lightweight, composite materials have already found wide-ranging uses in structural and engineering contexts. Through advancements in materials science and engineering the potential for further applications of composite materials can be achieved by introducing functionality. Journal of Materials Science: Composites focuses on this exciting new generation of materials. Sitting at the intersection of physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering, we welcome contributions on all types of composite materials — the only caveat is that composite functionality must be clearly demonstrated.

The International Journal of Mechanical and Materials Engineering is a peer-reviewed, international and interdisciplinary journal that provides a forum for cross-disciplinary research contributions covering a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to the mechanical and machining properties of materials as well as materials science, and how they apply to materials used in equipment and structures. Important topics include: nanomaterial, material synthesis and characterization, principles of the micro-macro transition; elastic behavior; plastic behavior; high-temperature creep, fatigue, and fracture; as well as metals, polymers, ceramics, intermetallics, and their composites. Other areas of interest are: tribology, joining; mechanical behavior; environmental effects, machining; nonconventional machining, materials processing; constitutive relations; and microstructure property relationships. The journal also deals with problems of  kinematics and dynamics of rigid bodies,  theory of machines and mechanisms, vibration and balancing of machine parts, stability of mechanical systems, mechanics of continuum, strength of materials, fatigue of materials, hydromechanics, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, thermo fluids, nanofluids, energy systems, renewable and alternative energy, engine, fuels, and experimental methods in dynamics. The journal accepts Reviews, Theoretical and Experimental Works as contributions. The journal also publishes special issues with selected papers from relevant conferences.

Journal of Mathematics in Industry is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It collects worldwide research on mathematical theory and methods applied to problems of modern industry. It brings together research on developments in mathematics for industrial applications, including both methods and the computational challenges they entail. Here, 'industry' is understood as any activity of economic and/or social value. As such, 'mathematics in industry' concerns the field as it actually improves industrial processes and helps to master the major challenges presented by cost and ecological issues. By publishing high-quality, innovative articles, it serves as an essential resource for academic researchers and practitioners alike. At the same time, it provides a common platform for scholars interested in precisely those types of mathematics needed in concrete industrial applications, and articles focusing on the interaction of academia and industry are preferred. In terms of theory, the journal seeks articles with demonstrable mathematical developments motivated by problems of modern industry. With regard to computational aspects, it publishes works introducing new methods and algorithms that represent significant improvements on the existing state of the art of modern numerical and simulations methods. The journal welcomes proposals for special issues on carefully selected topics, reflecting the trends of research and development in the broad area of mathematics in industry. Insightful survey articles may also be submitted for publication by invitation.The journal is initiated and run by the European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry (ECMI) in collaboration with Springer, and it is set up as a global journal with a world-wide editorial board, consisting of scientists in industry, academia and contract research organisations. The Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, founded by Francesco Pipino in the year 2000, is an official journal of the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. The journal publishes original papers reporting basic research or clinical applications in the field of orthopaedic and traumatologic surgery, as well as technical notes, rapid communications, case reports, comments and letters to the Editor. Although the journal is managed by the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, contributions from authors working in other countries are welcome.The Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology aims to be a forum for the communication and exchange of ideas concerning the various aspects of orthopaedics and traumatology. Furthermore, the journal aims to promote Italian medical research within an international context through the careful selection of papers and the choice of English as an official language.
