The Student Column publishes scientific manuscripts based on original research or practice-based work conducted by students, fellows, or recent graduates of ASPH member schools. The Student Column is peer reviewed. We strive to maintain a high level of quality for the manuscripts published. Accepted manuscripts may be published in each of the six issues of Public Health Reports printed annually.Submit Your Work: Potential submitters may be current students, at any level; current fellows; or working professionals up to two years post-graduation. All authors must have attended an ASPH member school of public health. Scientific manuscripts should have a strong public health component, add to the literature, sound methodology, actionable results, and clear and succinct writing. Other considerations are whether the submission discusses a topic of broad public health importance and interest, results that can be generalized, and a recent data set appropriate for the study.Become a Reviewer: Reviewers may be current students at an ASPH member school with at least one year experience in a master’s level program, current fellows, or working professionals up to two years post-graduation from an ASPH-member school. Each potential reviewer must submit two letters of recommendation from faculty members, a 1-2 page writing sample, and be available to review abstracts and full articles for at least nine months.

Public Organization Review seeks to advance knowledge of public organizations around the world. Its focus is on `public', broadly defined, to include governmental, non-profit, and non-governmental organizations, and their impacts on human life and society, as well as their influence in shaping human civilization. The Review publishes empirical, theoretical, analytical and historical articles of high academic quality that contribute to the advancement of understanding `public' organizations. Of particular interest are (1) studies of public organizations and their administration at all levels of analysis: (2) studies of intra and interorganizational relationships, including interactions with private corporations, non-profit, and non-governmental organizations: (3) studies of state and society, politics and market, social change and public organizations, and globalization and national governance/administration: (4) studies of organizational theory, behavior, change, development, leadership, policy, and management: (5) studies of organization-elite, organizational elite-mass citizens, and public-private sector interface: and (6) studies that further the cause of the common good and contribute to a humane civilization.This journal is significant as it focuses on public organizations at every level anywhere in the world. Pulmonary Pharmacology and Therapeutics (formerly Pulmonary Pharmacology) is concerned with lung pharmacology from molecular to clinical aspects. The subject matter encompasses the major diseases of the lung including asthma, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary circulation, ARDS, carcinoma, bronchitis, emphysema and drug delivery. Laboratory and clinical research on man and animals will be considered including studies related to chemotherapy of cancer, tuberculosis and infection. Previously published in two sections, Human Experimental Psychology (Section A) and Comparative and Physiological Psychology (B) the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology merged in 2006 to form a single journal.The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology is a leading international journal that publishes original articles on any topic within the field of experimental psychology. The journal publishes Rapid Communication articles (under 3,000 words) reporting novel techniques or ground breaking results, as well as substantial experimental reports. Aims & Scope: Rare Diseases is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality research addressing the underlying mechanisms of rare diseases. In the US, a disease or disorder is considered rare when it affects less than 200,000 people at any given time. In the EU, a disease or disorder is considered rare when it affects less than 1 in 2,000 people. Our goals are to publish original research articles and to raise awareness about rare diseases. Rare Diseases covers a range of topics including studies of disease-related proteins, analyses of rare disease mutations, gene expression analyses of rare disease genes, genotype-phenotype correlations, studies of animal models, and novel clinical findings.

Religion & Education is a journal of analysis and comment with the purpose of advancing public understanding and dialogue on issues at the intersections of religion and education. These issues emerge in various venues; manuscripts are invited from work in any such arena: public or private education at elementary, secondary, or higher education institutions; non-school or community organizations and settings; and formal or informal organizations or groups with religion or spirituality as an integral part of their work. Articles are invited from diverse methodological approaches and theoretical and ideological perspectives. Some articles are solicited, but unsolicited articles are encouraged. Unsolicited manuscripts are put through a peer review process. Opinions expressed by contributors do not necessarily reflect those of the editors or publisher. This journal is methodological in focus, so it welcomes research syntheses on all topics in Applied Linguistics, but especially those that have a strong relevance to professional practice (e.g., language teaching, learning, and assessment).

Research syntheses, or evidence syntheses, are a type of secondary research that employs systematic, transparent, reproducible, and often pre-registered methodologies to synthesise published research ( Chong & Plonsky, 2023; Chong & Plonsky, 2024). The focus of research syntheses can be substantive (e.g., language testing, translanguaging) and/or methodological (e.g., narrative inquiry). In the field of Applied Linguistics, meta-analyses are traditionally the predominant form of research synthesis, accounting for most of the published synthetic work. Nevertheless, this journal welcomes submissions of not only meta-analyses but other emergent types of research syntheses, especially those that employ qualitative methodologies (e.g., qualitative research synthesis, scoping review, systematic literature review) as well as methodological papers on the specific stages of conducting a research synthesis.

Results in Physics welcomes two types of papers:

1. Full research papers

2. Microarticles: very short papers, no longer than 2 pages. They may consist of a single, but well-described piece of information, such as:
- Data and/or a plot plus a description
- Description of a new method or instrumentation
- Negative results
- Concept or design study

All submitted manuscripts are fully peer-reviewed and after acceptance, a publication fee is charged to cover all editorial, production, and archiving costs. Different publication fees apply for the two types of papers: USD 750 for full papers and USD 500 for microarticles (excluding taxes). Accepted papers are freely accessible to anyone.

Resuscitation is a monthly international and interdisciplinary medical journal. The papers published deal with the aetiology, pathophysiology and prevention of cardiac arrest, resuscitation training, clinical resuscitation, and experimental resuscitation research, although papers relating to animal studies will be published only if they are of exceptional interest and related directly to clinical cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The enormously successful series is now published jointly by the Mineralogical Society of America and The Geochemical Society. Volumes 1-38 were published as "Reviews in Mineralogy" (ISSN 0275-0279). Volumes 1-6 originally appeared as "Short Course Notes" (no ISSN). The name was changed to "Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry" (RiMG) (ISSN 1529-6466) starting with Volume 39. Paul Ribbe was sole editor for volumes 1-41. He was joined by Jodi J. Rosso as series editor for volumes 42-53 in the RiMG series submitted through the Geochemistry Society. With his retirement, Jodi Rosso is now the sole editor for the series.
