Studia geophysica et geodaetica is an international journal covering all aspects of geophysics, meteorology and climatology, and of geodesy. Studia publishes theoretical and methodological contributions, which are of interest for academia as well as industry. Published by the Institute of Geophysics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, it was founded in 1956. The journal offers fast publication of contributions in regular as well as topical issues.

Surveys in Geophysics publishes refereed overview articles on physical, chemical and biological processes occurring within the Earth, on its surface, in its atmosphere and in the near-Earth space environment, including relations with other bodies in the solar system. Observations, their interpretation, theory and modeling are presented in relation to relevant disciplines in the Geosciences and related areas.Published articles present balanced and well constructed reviews of recent advances in areas of topical interest, written for the broad community of earth scientists in academia, government and industry. The subjects covered in Surveys in Geophysics comprise all aspects of the solid Earth, geodesy, oceans and atmosphere, meteorology and climate, hydrology, environmental issues, solar-terrestrial and space physics, plus the physics of the Moon and the terrestrial-type planets. The Swiss Journal of Geosciences is an international fully Open Access peer-reviewed journal and publishes original research and review articles, with a particular focus on the evolution of the Tethys realm and the Alpine/Himalayan orogen. By consolidating the former Eclogae Geologicae Helvetiae and Swiss Bulletin of Mineralogy and Petrology, this international journal covers all disciplines of the solid Earth Sciences, including their practical applications.

The journal gives preference to articles that are of wide interest to the international research community, while at the same time recognising the importance of documenting high-quality geoscientific data in a regional context, including the occasional publication of maps.

The Swiss Journal of Geosciences has editorial waivers available for outstanding contributions and review articles from researchers who lack funding for fully OA publication. Members of the Swiss Geological Society benefit from a reduced APC fee of EUR 800.

Swiss Journal of Palaeontology is an international fully Open Access peer-reviewed journal publishing original research and review articles of interest to the international community in the field of palaeontology. Manuscripts with palaeontological analyses comprising global data are equally welcome as such that document high-quality palaeontological data in a regional context. The diversity of published articles is reflected by the members of our editorial board.

We welcome contributions of all fields of palaeontology including alpha taxonomy & systematics, palaeobiology, palaeobiodiversity, palaeoenvironmemt, biostratigraphy, conservation palaeontology, palaeontological methodolgy, etc. including palaeontological studies employing up-to-date methods such as CT- or synchrotron-scanning, geochemical analyses and complex phylogenetic analyses.

Tectonophysics particularly encourages submission of papers based on the integration of a multitude of geophysical, geological, geochemical, geodynamic, and geotectonic methods with focus on:• Kinematics and deformation of the lithosphere based on space geodesy (e.g. GPS, InSAR), neoteoctonic studies, tectonic geomorphology, and geochronology;• Structure, composition, and thermal state of the crust and mantle and their evolution in various time scales based ongeophysical and geochemical studies;• Structural geology, folding, faulting, fracturing, analysis of stress and strain, and rock mechanics;• Orogenesis, tectonism, thermochronology, surficial processes, land-climate interactions, and Lithospheric-asthenospheric interactions;• Active tectonics, seismology, mechanisms of earthquakes and volcanism, geological hazards and their societal impacts;• Rheology and numerical modelling of geodynamic processes;• Laboratory measurements of physical and chemical parameters of crustal and mantle rocks, and their application to geophysics and petrology;• Innovative development, including testing, of new methods in geophysics and geodynamics.Tectonophysics welcomes contributions of three types:• Regular papers.• Fast track papers for short, innovative rapid communication, which will usually be reviewed within three weeks after submission. Tellus A: Dynamic Meteorology and Oceanography is an open access journal focusing on all aspects of atmospheric dynamics related to Earth science processes.

Tellus A, along with its sister journal Tellus B: Chemical and Physical Meteorology, are international, peer-reviewed journals of the International Meteorological Institute in Stockholm, an independent not-for-profit body integrated into the Department of Meteorology at the Faculty of Sciences of Stockholm University, Sweden. The two journals serve an international community of researchers, policymakers, managers, media and the general public. Together they promote the exchange of knowledge about meteorology from across a range of scientific sub-disciplines.

Terra Nova publishes short, innovative and provocative papers of interest to a wide readership and covering the broadest spectrum of the Solid Earth and Planetary Sciences. Terra Nova encompasses geology, geophysics and geochemistry, and extends to the fluid envelopes (atmosphere, ocean, environment) whenever coupling with the Solid Earth is involved. Papers that are of interest to Terra Nova readers will usually expose new general principles and understanding or challenge conventional wisdom.

The Astronomical Journal publishes original astronomical research, with an emphasis on significant scientific results derived from observations. Publications in AJ include descriptions of data capture, surveys, analysis techniques, astronomical interpretation, instrumentation, and software and computing.

The Astronomy and Astrophysics Review publishes invited reviews by leading experts from around the world. The range of topics covered includes all areas of astronomy and astrophysics; cosmic ray physics; studies in the solar system; astrobiology; developments in laboratory or particle physics directly relevant to astronomy; instrumentation; computational or statistical methods with specific astronomical applications; and other subjects relevant to astronomy and astrophysics.All important fields are reviewed from time to time, with the frequency of review depending on the amount of research activity.
