Annals of Tourism Research is a social sciences journal focusing upon the academic perspectives of tourism. While striving for a balance of theory and application, Annals is ultimately dedicated to developing theoretical constructs. Its strategies are to invite and encourage offerings from various disciplines; to serve as a forum through which these may interact; and thus to expand frontiers of knowledge in and contribute to the literature on tourism social science. The Annals of the American Association of Geographers  was first published in 1911. It is recognized as the Association's premier journal for major research articles for all fields of geography. To be accepted, a paper must adhere to a high standard of scholarship and make an important contribution to geographic knowledge. It should also be grounded in the relevant literature of the specialization it represents and, where appropriate, establish relationships to themes within the broader discipline. Contents may include invited essays, review articles, Presidential Addresses, and memorials.

The Annual Review of Criminology provides comprehensive reviews of significant developments in the multidisciplinary field of criminology, defined as the study of both the nature of criminal behavior and societal reactions to crime.

With this journal, the editors intend to permit an international, interdisciplinary discussion of legal and ethical issues approached from an historical, theoretical or comparative point of view. Each of the individual volumes emphasizes one particular issue at the interface of law and philosophy, and also contains contributions from the fields of economics, sociology and political science.

Anthropologica is a peer-reviewed, bilingual journal publishing original and ground-breaking scholarly research in all areas of cultural and social anthropology and providing a comprehensive look into the fieldwork being done by Canadian anthropologists in all parts of the world. Anthropologica publishes twice per year and welcomes ethnographic writing by non-Canadian scholars who have been identified by the editors as having important contributions to make to Canadian readers.

The journal provides a forum for both established and innovative approaches to anthropological research. A special section devoted to contributions on applied anthropology appears periodically. The editors are especially keen to publish new approaches based on ethnographic and theoretical work in the journal's established areas of strength: Australian culture and society, Aboriginal Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
