Journal of Early Childhood Literacy is a fully peer-reviewed international quarterly journal. Since its foundation in 2001 JECL has rapidly become a distinctive, leading voice in research in early childhood literacy, with a multinational range of contributors and readership. The main emphasis in the journal is on papers researching issues related to the nature, function and use of literacy in early childhood.

The Journal of Early Childhood Research is a peer reviewed journal that provides an international forum childhood research, bridging cross-disciplinary areas and applying theory and research within the professional community. This reflects the world-wide growth in theoretical and empirical research on learning and development in early childhood and the impact of this on provision. The journal has particular relevance to policymakers and practitioners working in fields related to early childhood.

The Journal of Early Childhood Teacher Education, the official journal of the National Association of Early Childhood Teacher Educators, publishes original manuscripts, reviews, and information about association activities. Its purpose is to provide a forum for consideration of issues and for exchange of information and ideas about research and practice in early childhood teacher education. JECTE welcomes research reports, position papers, essays on current issues, reflective reports on innovative teacher education practices, letters to the editor and book reviews.Peer Review Policy:All articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and refereeing by three anonymous reviewers. The Journal of Early Christian History aims to contribute to scholarship in early Christian and Byzantine studies by publishing high quality research articles, review articles and book reviews. The journal aspires to approach the field of early Christian and Byzantine studies from new perspectives, welcoming studies incorporating various methodologies, contextual trajectories and interdisciplinary research. The journal especially wishes to promote research in these fields within a South African and wider African context, but not neglecting the international scholarly community. It therefore publishes individually submitted articles, articles resulting from research projects and also conference proceedings. Articles and reviews from the following disciplines are covered by the scope of the journal: New Testament Studies; Patristics and Late Ancient Studies; Byzantine Studies. Although these disciplines form the crux of research covered by the journal, studies from other relevant fields such as the Old Testament and Septuagint, Classics and Religion would also be considered for publication.

The official publication of the North American Patristics Society (NAPS), the Journal of Early Christian Studies focuses on the study of Christianity in the context of late ancient societies and religions from c.e. 100-700. Incorporating The Second Century (an earlier publication), the Journal publishes the best of traditional patristics scholarship while showcasing articles that call attention to newer themes and methodologies than those appearing in other patristics journals. An extensive book review section is featured in every issue.

Journal of Early Intervention (JEI) offers articles related to research and practice in early intervention for infants and young children with special needs and their families. Early intervention is broadly defined as procedures that facilitate the development of infants and young children who have special needs or who are at risk for developmental disabilities. Key features include research, reviews, policy analyses, and "Innovative Practices.".

The early modern period of world history (ca. 1300-1800) was marked by a rapidly increasing level of global interaction. Between the aftermath of Mongol conquest in the East and the onset of industrialization in the West, a framework was established for new kinds of contacts and collective self-definition across an unprecedented range of human and physical geographies. The Journal of Early Modern History, the official journal of the University of Minnesota Center for Early Modern History, is the first scholarly journal dedicated to the study of early modernity from this world-historical perspective, whether through explicitly comparative studies, or by the grouping of studies around a given thematic, chronological, or geographic frame.

Journal of Earth Science, issued bimonthly through China University of Geosciences, covers all branches of geology and related technology in the exploration and utilization of earth resources. Founded in 1990 as the Journal of China University of Geosciences, this publication is expanding its breadth of coverage to an international scope. Coverage includes such topics as geology, petrology, mineralogy, ore deposit geology, tectonics, paleontology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, geochemistry, geophysics and environmental sciences. Articles published in recent issues include Tectonics in the Northwestern West Philippine Basin; Creep Damage Characteristics of Soft Rock under Disturbance Loads; Simplicial Indicator Kriging; Tephra Discovered in High Resolution Peat Sediment and Its Indication to Climatic Event. Begun in 1934 as a quarterly journal, the Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences (Earth and Planetary Sciences) was renamed the Journal of Earth System Science in 2005; it is now published bimonthly. The journal is interdisciplinary and presents high-quality research - new data, ideas, and conceptual advances - in Earth System Science in its broadest sense. This includes the solid earth, the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, and the biosphere; it also addresses related aspects of planetary and space sciences. Contributions pertaining to the Indian subcontinent and the surrounding Indian Ocean region are particularly welcome.

The Journal of Earthquake Engineering is a publication of peer-reviewed papers on research and development in analytical, experimental and field studies of earthquakes from an engineering seismology as well as a structural engineering viewpoint. The Journal combines the three most important ingredients for a successful technical publication; the highest possible technical quality, speed of publication and competitive subscription rates. The journal draws on research and development work from engineering communities worldwide in the fields of earthquake engineering and engineering seismology. Work on experimental, analytical, design, and field studies will be considered for publication. Journal of Earthquake and Tsunami provides a common forum for scientists and engineers working in the areas of earthquakes and tsunamis to communicate and interact with one another and thereby enhance the opportunities for such cross-fertilization of ideas. The Journal publishes original papers pertaining to state-of-the-art research and development in Geological and Seismological Setting; Ground Motion, Site and Building Response; Tsunami Generation, Propagation, Damage and Mitigation, as well as Education and Risk Management following an earthquake or a tsunami.
