JBCS is a formal quarterly publication of the Brazilian Computer Society. It is a peer-reviewed international journal which aims to serve as a forum to disseminate innovative research in all fields of computer science and related subjects. Theoretical, practical and experimental papers reporting original research contributions are welcome, as well as high quality survey papers. The journal is open to contributions in all computer science topics, computer systems development or in formal and theoretical aspects of computing, as the list of topics below is not exhaustive. Contributions will be considered for publication in JBCS if they have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Topics of interest for paper submissions include, but are not restricted to: computer architecture high-performance computing database management and information retrieval computational biology computer graphics data visualization image and video processing VLSI design, software-hardware codesign embedded systems software engineering geoinformatics human computer interaction artificial intelligence games, entertainment and virtual reality programming languages algorithms and theory of computing natural language processing computer networks and distributed systems robotics collaborative systems multimedia and hypermedia systems secure and fault-tolerant systems mobile and ubiquitous computin, g computers and applications (e.g. health, education, agriculture and music)

The JBSP publishes papers on phenomenology and existential
philosophy as well as contributions from other fields of philosophy engaging
with topics in the tradition of Phenomenology
. Papers from researchers
in the humanities and the human sciences interested in the philosophy of their
subject will be welcome too. Space will be given to research in progress, to
interdisciplinary discussion, and to book reviews.

In each annual volume we aim to publish one Special Issue covering themes of
contemporary significance. Proposals for such issues should be submitted to the
editor, around two years before planned publication. The person proposing the
Special Issue will usually serve as Guest Editor for that issue.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor,
and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by two
independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double blind.

Journal of the Chinese Advanced Materials Society (JCAMS) is an international peer-reviewed journal that is devoted to the publication of original contributions on forefront, fundamental research in all aspects of materials science. Both theoretical and experimental studies which focus on the preparation or understanding of materials with unusual or useful properties are relevant. It includes all materials that represent advances over the traditional materials, and covers all new materials and modifications to existing materials which demonstrate better performance in characteristics critical for application. JCAMS will especially focus on the development of materials with novel and/or useful optical, electrical, magnetic, catalytic, and mechanical properties, among others. Categories of contribution for the journal are Communications, Review Articles, and Full Articles.
