Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (BES) is an international English scientific periodical jointly established by Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) and the Coulston International Corporation (CIC), USA in 1988, which is published bimonthly and distributed both in China and abroad. The editorial office is based in the headquarters of China CDC.BES publishes research papers submitted from China and other countries in the areas of biomedical and environmental sciences, which cover public health virology, microbiology, epidemiology, parasitology, nutrition, toxicology, pharmacology, environmental health, chemistry, biological and toxicological effects of hazardous substances including environmental pollutants, food additives, pesticides and industrial chemicals as well as methodological research, including chemical, biochemical, pathological and immunological methods. Experimental studies on natural and synthetic pollutants of the distribution, metabolic characteristics, and their impact on human health are also included. Research on preventive medicine and public health are also welcomed.Our Journal has joined the famous researching system, such as SCI, CA etc. We also got the sustentation fund of National Natural Foundation of China in 1999.To meet the needs of national information development and widen authors academic exchange channel, we declare that the journal, Biomedical and Environmental Sciences, has joined the Net. An international multidisciplinary journal with two objectives:- to create an interface between clinical and laboratory responses to drugs and to investigate critical approaches to different pathologies with regard to biological and clinical data,- to provide a niche for authors whose work is not directly defined by the review criteria of existing journals.Biomedicine and pharmacotherapy is one of the few journals at the forefront of fundamental and technical science, biological and medical disciplines, therapeutics and pathological description. General fields of interest include molecular and cell biology, genetic disease, immunology and immunoregulation and chemotherapy. Special emphasis is placed on studies of specific topics such as differentiation, pharmacology and toxicology, preclinical and clinical pharmacology, the effects of drugs on cell structural and functional elements, the mechanism of gene regulation in normal and pathological cells, the role of viruses and parasites and the therapy of the diseases they induce. Brief reports of meetings, symposia and conferences will also be considered for publication as well as announcements of scientific meetings or academic courses.

Aims and Scope Biometrical Journalpublishes papers on statistical methods and their applications in life sciences including medicine. environmental sciences and agriculture. Methodological developments should be motivated by an interesting and relevant problem from these areas. Ideally the manuscript should include a description of the problem and a section detailing the application of the new methodology to the problem. Case studies. review articles and letters to the editors are also welcome. Papers containing only extensive mathematical theory are not suitable for publication inBiometrical Journal. The Editors are supporting reproducible research. Authors are strongly encouraged to submit computer code and data sets used to illustrate new methods. These will be published as supporting information on the journal"s webpage once the paper was accepted for publication.
