The Journal of South American Earth Sciences provides an international medium for the publication of scientific work concerned with all aspects of the earth sciences in the South American continent and the surrounding oceans. Work is also accepted from the adjacent regions of the Caribbean, Central America and Antarctic Peninsula.Papers must have a regional appeal and should present work of more than local significance. Research papers dealing with the regional geology of South American cratons and mobile belts; economic geology particularly metallogenesis and hydrocarbon genesis; stratigraphy, structure and basin evolution; geophysics and geochemistry; volcanology; tectonics and Quaternary geology are featured.New developments in already established regional projects and new initiatives dealing with the geology of the continent will be summarized and presented on a regular basis. The Journal of Southern African Studies is an international publication for work of high academic quality on issues of interest and concern in the region of Southern Africa. It aims at generating fresh scholarly enquiry and rigorous exposition in the many different disciplines of the social sciences and humanities, and periodically organises and supports conferences to this end, sometimes in the region. It seeks to encourage inter-disciplinary analysis, strong comparative perspectives and research that reflects new theoretical or methodological approaches. An active advisory board and an editor based in the region demonstrate our close ties with scholars there and our commitment to promoting research in the region. This Journal is devoted to reporting advancements in the science and technology associated with spacecraft and tactical and strategic missile systems, including subsystems, applications, missions, environmental interactions, and space sciences. The Journal publishes original archival papers disclosing significant developments in spacecraft and missile configurations, re-entry devices, transatmospheric vehicles, systems and subsystem design and application, mission design and analysis, applied and computational fluid dynamics, applied aerothermodynamics, development of materials and structures for spacecraft and missile applications, space instrumentation, developments in space sciences, space processing and manufacturing, space operations, interactions with spacecraft and sensors, design of sensors and experiments for space, and applications of space technologies to other fields. The context of the Journal also includes ground-support systems, manufacturing, integration and testing, launch control, recovery and repair, space communications, scientific data processing, and human and environmental factors in spacecraft and mission design. Papers also are sought which describe the effects of propulsion, guidance and control, thermal management, and structural systems on spacecraft and missile design and performance.

The Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies is an international peer-reviewed journal that interrogates established notions of Spanish culture and Hispanism by publishing innovative theoretical and critical work of the highest quality. It promotes the study of previously marginalized areas of Spanish culture, and research which rethinks the cultural meanings of canonical texts, in relation to all historical periods. Work across disciplinary and national boundaries is encouraged.Submissions are invited on any period and in or across any cultural discipline, including: literary studies, performing arts, visual arts, film, media, intellectual history, philosophy, history of science, psychoanalysis, cultural theory, cultural history, material culture, anthropology, religion, popular culture, mass culture, museum studies, tourism, cultural policy. In particular, the journal is a vehicle for work on the role of culture in identity formation and the cultural negotiation of concepts of nation, region, class, gender, and ethnicity; local nationalisms and globalization; subcultures and urban ethnography; the construction of taste and audience reception; heritage and cultural memory.Four issues are published each year: with all articles in English or Spanish, with quotations in the original language (in the case of Basque, Catalan, and Galician, an English or Spanish translation is also given).
